Patio Pups
If you've ever wanted your dog to join you at the local coffee shop or brewery, this is the class to help make that dream a reality. In this specialty four week course, you and your dog will build all of the specific skills needed for a fun and stress-free patio experience.
Learn how to navigate long periods of settling, close proximities to other dogs and people, loose leash walking through crowds (while carrying a drink!) and more unique skills. Upon graduation, you and your pup will be invited to join our exclusive Patio Field Trips to local Cafés and Breweries!

Age requirement OR Middle School Graduate
Package Details:
4 classes - $250
First 3 classes take place on campus. The final class takes place at a local coffee shop.
What We Cover:
Settling at a table while you snack or converse
Settling in close proximities to other working teams
Loose leash walking in close proximities to other teams
Loose leash walking while you hold a beverage or plate
Stationary behavior while you place an order or converse with someone
Polite greetings with people who approach your table
Any other necessary skills for a fun and safe outing!

Supportive Services
Once you’re enrolled in a group class, you’ll receive a discount on private training to help address your specific goals and unique challenges. During private sessions, we can meet at local dog-friendly cafés, breweries, or restaurants to troubleshoot your training together.
Graduating this class makes you eligible to attend our Patio Field Trips for more affordable opportunities to continue practicing your skills in the presence of a trainer and other like-minded teams!
Class Set Up
Welcome to the Clickstart Café! We design the classroom to look like a mock café. You’ll have your own table to sit at and each class team tables will get closer together. We’ll have a counter to come up to for snacks or drinks and trainers posing as your waiters. By the time we get to a real café, everything will look familiar to your dog!

This class is designed for dogs who will sincerely enjoy being out in public with you.
If your dog will be anxious or stressed in a public setting, around people, or around dogs, then we do not recommend this class.

This really depends and may require a conversation with your trainer!
If your dog is doing well at settling and dismissing other dogs, then they’re ready for this class. If they could benefit from a few more classes with physical and visual barriers, then we’d recommend High School first.

Yes! It’s a great class for preparing for holiday events such as birthday parties, Thanksgiving dinner, etc. It can even be helpful for your every day meals at the dining table.
