Clicks for Tricks
Trick training is a fun and surprisingly valuable way to bond with your pup, build attentiveness, and tire them out. Our trick trainers are AKC evaluators ready to help you and your dog earn your Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced Trick Titles!
This class is a drop-in style workshop so you can take the class whenever it works for your schedule and as often as you’d like in order to earn all your trick titles or get help learning a specific complex trick.

After each class, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions for certain exercises covered. This email will also contain links to additional resources, purchasable items, Clickstart’s supportive services and more.
Trainer Qualifications
Our trick trainers are AKC Trick Dog Evaluators. They have experience teaching their own dogs tricks as well as countless Clickstart students! Each trainer has their own areas of expertise within trick training so feel free to let us know if you’re working toward a specific trick so we can match you to the right trainer for the job.
Class Setup
Our Clicks for Tricks class is capped at 3-4 dogs so that you can each have your own private lane to work in off leash! We provide you with any necessary props including tunnels, jumps, bells, etc. Our classroom has everything you need to be successful at learning new tricks.
FAQs

During class, we will take quick videos of 2 successful reps of each required trick.
Once you’ve completed the required tricks for that title, we’ll sign off on your paperwork which you will then submit to the AKC Trick Application Portal.
If you don’t complete all of the tricks in class, you’re welcome to send us video of your own and then we can sign off on your title paperwork.

Yes! Anyone can have learning tricks with their dog. The AKC Titles are just an added bonus if desired.

Yes! We can help you earn any of the three titles as well as tricks above and beyond them. The drop-in style format is designed to cater to the needs of the individuals who sign up. The curriculum is completely flexible!

If you haven’t worked with us before, then we will require a Discovery Call to gain explicit trainer approval.
Clickstart has a very unique way of training and very high expectations of a dog’s comfort during training. It is imperative that we are on the same page about methodology before working together.
