Behavior Consulting

Our behavior consultants are ready to help you and your dog through their fear, anxiety, or aggression with customized one-on-one private coaching services and ethical & effective methodologies.

Behavior Evaluation

All behavior consulting services begin with an evaluation. The Behavior Evaluation is 90-120 minutes and will take place on Zoom.

This session will consist of:

• Gathering a thorough history. We will discuss your dog’s behavior in detail. Before ethically creating a training plan and making any recommendations, we need to understand the behavior in its entirety.

• Assessing your current routine. We will assess your current daily routine with your dog and make any necessary recommendations. We will also assess whether or not your dog’s needs are being met via their social, mental and physical enrichment schedules.

• Establish training plans. We will begin to cover our training recommendations. This may include a thorough discussion of management and enrichment plans. It may also include hands-on practice of specific exercises with your dog on camera. These exercises will help your dog be successful when we meet together in person.

• Discussing next steps. We will establish the most productive next step for your dog’s training. This may include in-person private training, our Reactive Rover Recovery group class, an in-person group class, or other service depending on our evaluation.

* We collaborate with your veterinarians or vet behaviorists to accurately assess your dog’s physical and mental health and work through any corresponding diagnosis.
